Mayor John Lee, Mayor Pro Tem Pamela Goynes-Brown and Councilwoman Anita Wood will attend a town hall meeting to discuss reorganization of the Clark County School District on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the City of Las Vegas Council Chambers, 495 S. Main Street.
As a result of AB 394, a technical advisory committee is developing a plan to reorganize the Clark County School District and has requested input from Southern Nevada cities. The town hall will focus on funding equity issues and how they will be impacted by AB 394.
