COMMUNITY MEETING AND SURVEY
THE CITY OF NORTH LAS VEGAS
HOUSING STUDY AND ANNUAL ACTION PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of North Las Vegas will conduct a community meeting on March 24, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Zion United Methodist Church, 2108 Revere St, North Las Vegas 89030 for the Choice Neighborhood Initiative, the 2022 Annual Action Plan, and a Housing Market and Needs Study. All community members are welcome and encouraged to participate, learn about local planning initiatives, and provide feedback. North Las Vegas also launched an online survey to get feedback on housing and community development needs and everyone is encouraged to participate. The survey is open until March 25, 2022:

The purpose of this Annual Action Plan is to identify the City’s, housing and community development
needs, priorities, goals, and strategies; and to stipulate how funds will be allocated to housing and
community development activities during the 2022 fiscal year. Annually, recipients of HUD block grant funds must prepare an Action Plan that details how funds will be spent in the current program year. The Annual Action Plan must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by May 15, 2022, for review and approval.

THE CITY OF NORTH LAS VEGAS
FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN AND ANNUAL ACTION PLANS
FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The proposed 2022 Annual Action Plan, part of the 2020 to 2024 Consolidated Plan, will be available on April 1, 2022, for a 30-day public review and comment period. The purpose of the Consolidated Plan is to identify the City’s housing and community development needs, priorities, goals, and strategies; and to stipulate how funds will be allocated to housing and community development activities during the five-year period. Annually, recipients of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) block grant funds must prepare an Action Plan that details how funds will be spent in the current program year. These documents combine the Five-Year Strategic Plan and the Annual Action Plan.

The 2022 Annual Action Plan must be submitted to HUD by May 15, 2022, for review and approval.
