The City of North Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking qualified candidates for a variety of seasonal part-time job opportunities. The department will host two summer hiring parties, which will include on-the-spot interviews for ages 16-21.
The events are planned:
- Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to noon
- Wednesday, April 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Both hiring parties take place at Silver Mesa Recreation Center, 4025 Allen Lane in North Las Vegas.
The following part-time positions are available:
- Lifeguard - $14/hour
- Water Safety Instructor - $15/hour
- Pool Manager - $17/hour
- Aquatics Coordinator - $20/hour
Please note, the City of North Las Vegas will pay for employees to become lifeguard certified. Additionally, new hires will receive a one-time sign-on bonus of $100 after they pass a background check and have worked one pay period. All Parks and Recreation summer staff are eligible to receive a $400 one-time bonus once they work over 150 hours and stay with the City from May 23 through Sept. 9, 2022.
