September is childhood cancer awareness month. North Las Vegas and communities across Southern Nevada, along with elected officials, businesses, families and advocates, are coming together this month to #shineGOLD to raise awareness about this awful disease and to help support the efforts of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada and other similar groups.
