The City of North Las Vegas is hiring more than 100 people to staff the upcoming Community Correctional Center scheduled for a summer 2020 opening – corrections officers, corrections specialists, lieutenants, sergeants, community services specialists, IT and maintenance workers, administrative assistants, and more.
Correction officer pay for rookies will begin at more than $53,000 a year, while lateral transfers will start between $56,000 and $59,000, depending on experience – plus a signing bonus for both!
Signing bonus:
Rookies: $2,000
Laterals: $5,000
Laterals hired as supervisors: $7,000
