What is SNUMA?

If you're looking for in-person learning, small class sizes and individualized instruction, the Southern Nevada Urban Micro Academy is the place for you! Enrollment is free! 

SNUMA is open to North Las Vegas families and children with at least one parent who works in North Las Vegas. This groundbreaking microschool program provides in-person education support to children in grades K-8. 

Students receive in-person instruction and follow online homeschooling lessons aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards along with enrichment and extracurricular activities. Classroom sizes are capped at 15 children per room. 

Fun Zone programming before and after school hours is also available.

Please note, children who enroll in SNUMA must declare as homeschooled, and parents/guardians assume full responsibility for the education of the child while the child is being homeschooled.
