Frank Taylor
Battalion Chief City of North Las Vegas Battalion Chief Taylor has been a member of the North Las Vegas Fire Department for 23 years. Prior to joining the fire department, he worked in the construction field for 8 years. He is a proud member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the International Association of Firefighters, where he served over ten years as the vice president for Local 1607. Chief Taylor has been involved in several activities throughout his career, including PAYBAC, Apparatus Committee, IAFF / IAFC Fitness - Wellness Initiative, Juvenile Fire Setters Aversion Program, and is a Rescue Specialist and Agency Representative for the Nevada Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue team. He has been the KLAS Channel 8 Volunteer of the Week, nominated for Fire Fighter of the Year, and received the TIP’s Heroes with Heart Award.
