Maryann Ustick is the Acting City Manager and Assistant City Manager of Development for the City of North Las Vegas.  She oversees the departments of Economic Development, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, and Planning & Zoning.  

Ustick was appointed to her position in December 2005.  Her prior experience includes nearly a decade in city management.  Prior to joining the City of North Las Vegas, Ustick worked as the Assistant City Manager and Interim City Manager for the City of Las Cruces, N.M.  She also was the Assistant City Manager for the City of Pensacola, Fla.  

Ustick holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, a master’s degree in history and a master’s of public administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.  

Ustick is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and is an ICMA Credentialed City Manager; National League of Cities, American Society for Public Administrators; National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.  She is a board member of the Local Government Managers Association of Nevada; a member of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.
